John P. Corrigan, Esq.

John is a founding member of Corrigan, Baker & Levine, LLC. He has been practicing law for more than 30 years and also holds and/or previously held the professional license designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Combining such professional training with an MBA allows John to look at complex business matters with a different point of view which sets him apart from professionals who may have significant experience but in just one discipline. In fact, John is frequently engaged by other legal, accounting, insurance and financial firms to assist on their own client matters needing specific experience beyond their own capabilities.

Gregg S. Baker, Esq.

Gregg is a founding member of Corrigan, Baker & Levine, LLC. He has been practicing law for more than 30 years and concentrates in several practice areas including real estate, zoning and land use, landlord/tenant and commercial litigation. Gregg has successfully handled hundreds of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including sales and acquisitions, leasing and financing. He also has extensive experience in all types of matters involving condominiums, cooperatives and homeowners associations.

As a seasoned zoning attorney, Gregg has represented developers throughout the New York Metropolitan area with respect to complex residential, commercial, industrial, religious, educational and mixed-use developments. He has successfully handled all types of zoning applications, including subdivisions, site plans, variances, zoning amendments, special use permits, wetlands permits, steep slopes permits and environmental approvals.

Robert J. Levine, Esq.

Robert is a founding member of Corrigan, Baker & Levine, LLC. He practices in the areas of corporate and real estate law, representing both large and small entities in a broad range of matters. He has extensive experience counseling and advising clients regarding such issues as corporate formations, structuring and restructuring, business sales and acquisitions, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, employment and severance agreements, and general commercial litigation. Based on the breadth of his corporate practice and experience, he often serves in a “general counsel” capacity for his clients, overseeing all of their legal needs.

Robert’s real estate practice covers property sales and acquisitions, leasing, financing, development, and litigation. He has represented both buyers and sellers regarding the transfer and development of large commercial properties. He has also represented various lending institutions in both real estate and general business financing.

Kathryn M. Ryan, Sr. Associate

Kathryn has been practicing law for 22 years and concentrates in several practice areas, including corporate and real estate law, landlord/tenant matters, and wills, trusts and estates.  She has experience in a broad range of matters, such as corporate formations, business sales and acquisitions, operating agreements, employment and severance agreements, will and trust preparation, and general commercial litigation. 

Prior to joining the firm, Kathryn was a litigation attorney at Coudert Brothers and Baker & McKenzie LLP, where she handled a broad range of disputes, including complex domestic/international commercial, banking, trust, partnership, employment, patent, trademark, insurance, and general litigation/arbitration matters.

Ralph Amelio, Esq.

Ralph has been an attorney for more than 30 years with areas of experience including business contracts, entity formations and wills, trusts and estates. Ralph also has significant experience in the areas of individual and corporate tax law. His extensive tax law training has enabled Ralph to represent both individuals and business entities to resolve their outstanding tax liabilities through Offer In Compromise proceedings and tax payment plans both with the Internal Revenue Service and at the State level.

James J. Callaghan, Esq.

James has been practicing law for more than 30 years, joining the firm after a decade-long solo practice in the Hartford, CT metropolitan area. James has extensive experience in litigation (criminal, personal injury, and commercial law), residential and commercial real estate transactions representing landlords in a number of areas, including buy-sell, property tax appeals, will preparation, as well as counsel to trade groups and individuals before state and municipal government entities.

James has also been involved in his local community, as an elected municipal board member, and regularly volunteers his time with a number of youth, sport and social service organizations.
